Q. Please help me find the recipe for Beverly Hills Cafe salad dressing Island Chutney. We used to go the restaurant in Boca Raton and this was my favorite salad dressing. I would order it on salad and then buy a jar to take home. It’s been closed for several years but I would really love to be able to create this favorite in my home for my family dinners. Thanks for any help you can provide. Lynn Kough, Deerfield
A. The good news is you can still enjoy the dressing. The bad news is you’ll have to drive a little farther south to the exisitng Beverly Hills Café locations (7321 Miami Lakes Drive, Miami Lakes, 305-558-8201; 5544 S. Flamingo Road, Cooper City, 954-434-2220, thebeverlyhillscafe.com. Since 1979 the casual restaurant has become known for their scratch made soups, salads, dressings and dinner rolls. Large portions, quality ingredients and reasonable prices keep them coming back for more. Try this recipe I found online and see if it comes close.
