The Parkland Adult 5-on-5 Touch Football team is seeking players for its Saturday morning pick-up games. The action takes place from 10 a.m. to noon at Terramar Park, 6575 NW 76th Dr., west of State Road 7 on Hillsboro Blvd.
Game-time is set for residents and others. There isn’t any cost to play. It’s not a league format, just friendly competition.

Suns seek hardwood players
The Sunrise Suns are members of the National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA) and are in need of professional players.
Held for disabled participants’ ages 18 and older, the wheelchair basketball evening practices are from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Village Multipurpose Center, 2240 NW 68th Ave. Tournament play is on Saturdays and Sundays.
The Suns are in the process of putting together a youth team for players’ ages 12-16 to practice on Sundays. New players are welcome for each agenda.
