The seller of the 110-room hotel at 620 N. University Drive was Garrison Coral Springs Hotel Propco LLC., an affiliate of New York-based Garrison Investment Group.

Garrison had previously purchased the hotel in January for $7 million, according to property records.

The Courtyard Marriott’s buyer is Vista Coral Springs Hotel, an affiliate of Canadian real estate investment firm Vista Hospitality.

The outfit, based in Kichener, Ontario, has 12 hotels, including two others in Florida, according to its website. They are a Crowne Plaza hotel in downtown Orlando and a Comfort Inn in Kissimmee.

Last year, Vista Hospitality sold the 156-room Holiday Inn Express Hotel Suites Plantation for $12.5 million, after acquiring it in 2011.
